How to Slow Down: 4 Simple Ways to Slow Down.

Rest is important for our body to calibrate and rejuvenate but how do we embrace it when everyone and everything is seeking our attention constantly.


Here are a few ways that can help you slow down:


Tip #1 - Creating and maintaining boundaries.


I have learnt to vocalize what my boundaries are so that everyone around me knows what to expect. This takes away all the stress that builds up over time.


Tip #2 - Scheduling time off in your day and week.


These are intentional breaks where you move away from things and people who seek attention and energy. Instead, develop mindful connections.

Tip #3 - Savoring experiences to be fully present in the moment.

It does not have to be something big, it could be as simple as listening to music and paying attention to the activity of listening.


Tip #4 - Saying no!


Say no to anything that does not serve any purpose, is not important or urgent. It save time and energy.
